Fall 2017 Fashion Trends

Silver

We noticed pops of silver in Paris (and on the streets of Paris) this past month, but allover silver looks proved even more popular for Fall 2017.

Power Red

It's official: red is the color of Fall 2017. Allover red was the go-to monochromatic look for fall. And to be sure, it'll never go out of style. A woman in red is undoubtedly elegant and regal and for many years now the color has been associated with a sense of feminine strength, on and off the runway. A woman wearing this color is immediately envied and it will continue to have this effect for the rest of time.

Plaid

When you hear plaid, you typically think of '90s grunge. But this season is all about the bright plaid from the '70s. The versatile print was crafted into classic coats at Prada, statement pants at Tome, and even premiered as a formal gown at Jenny Packham. Fashion trend straight from the runway it's plaids and checks adorned every type of clothing, but none so much as the fall coat.

 Power Suits

It does not take a genius to understand why the power suit has returned to the fashion industry's collective conscience, often in the harder-to-pull-off double-breasted version. More power to you, ladies.

Shearling

In terms of outerwear, look forward to getting cozy with shearling. The plush wool came in plenty of shapes, sizes and textures.
